Meet the party solution for the new normal

Because of COVID, Sara assumed blowing out her candles at her 10th birthday party was a no-no. Her face when she saw her cake come out with Top It Cake Shield? Priceless.

No one deserved to blow out the candles on his birthday cake worry-free more than Grandpa Bernie. Thanks to Top It Cake Shield, 90 looked even better than 89!

I used Top It Cake Shield on a tray of cupcakes and it was a total hit! No germs and was still able to take great photos.

My favorite is the Slice Shield. Sometimes I put a candle on a slice even when it’s not my birthday just because it’s so fun to use.

I was convinced that this would be super clunky and hard to put together but even my husband could do it. So relieved the cake was able to really show even with the shield over it!

As a dentist, I’ve spent my entire career cringing during birthday parties during the whole blowing out of the candles ordeal. Now I can finally enjoy the entire party.

We had to totally re-plan Jessie’s Sweet 16 because of the pandemic. Thankfully, her favorite bakery was still able to make the cake we wanted--and thanks to Top it Cake Shield, she was able to safely blow out all the candles with her friends on Zoom.

There’s no post-pandemic product that is more clever. Preserving a tradition without changing it? Genius.

As a baker, my primary concern was always how my cakes looked. Being able to tell my customers that they can safely blow out the candles on the beautiful designs without covering the cake up? Now THAT is cool.

We keep one of each shape in the house at all times. You never know when you’ll need to spontaneously, yet safely, celebrate!

Birthday cakes are part of a tradition that should continue without the fear of COVID or germs. As a self proclaimed germaphobe it always grossed me out to see people spit on cakes - now my fears are gone!! Great concept..truly genius! 

It’s little things like candles on a cake that remind us of all the impacts this pandemic has had on daily life and maybe for the rest of our lives.  Fortunately, creative people are creating new products that allow us to feel a sense of normalcy while staying safe. You have my gratitude.
